Day 14 - Brief Review and Test over Chapter 2 and section 3.1

Day 15 - Vocabulary Review for 4.1 and Law of Demand video. Also - completed four entrepreneur presentations.

Day 16 - Vocabulary Review for 5.1 and three entrepreneur presentations. Reviewing questions about reading and videos from the Khan Academy.

Day 17 -- NPR new cast and current event quick quiz. In-depth reading and discussion of chapter 5 section 1.  We will be doing 20 minutes of question/answer on chapter 6 section 1 prior to taking the 4.1/5.1/6.1 test during our next class.

Day 18 - Test on 4.1, 5.1, and 6.1 - OGT Reduced Schedule Day.

Day 19 - Test results evaluated. TED talk by Amanda Palmer: The Art of Asking. Preview of Chapter 12. - OGT Reduced Schedule Day. Only 50 minutes of class time.

Day 20 - 12.1 lecture and reading, two vocab challenges - OGT Reduced Schedule Day.

Day 21 - Full Vocabulary Review, Vocabulary Challenge for 12.1 and 12.2, Video clips on GDP from Khan Academy.

Day 23 - Cyprus Debt Crisis Explained - Test on Chapter 12.

Day 24 - Inflation work in the computer lab.  Took ten items that a student recently purchased and looked at the cost over the past ten years.  Introduced the idea of the inflation calculator.

Day 25 - The Business Cycle broken down into detail and examined the impact of human emotions on the cycle. Worked on vocabulary for business cycle, fluctuations of the business cycle, and inflation.

Day 26 - Vocabulary Challenge Round 12, Business Cycle Quiz,  Inflation Overview, What is Inflation?, Inflation Data, Consumer Price Index.

Day 27 - Round Robin for Chapter 13. Test over Chapter 13. Collected Inflation surveys of costs of items purchased and their inflation rates over a five year period, and ten year period.

Day 28 - History of Money video, Very Short History of U.S. Monetary Policy, Work in the computer lab on Why Gold, History of Money, How Money Works. Finished with silent reading on Chapter 14 section 1.  Be ready to be quizzed over the section assessment questions at the end of Chapter 14.1
