Viewed first 12 minutes of Interviews with nurses from the Vietnam War. Briefly discussed the four main points of view of the war: soldiers, families of soldiers, protesters, and government. Assignment: Prepare for a 30 minute writing session over the Vietnam War for next class meeting.

Wed. May 4 (Gray 4) - Daily Line Up. Vietnam discussion. Examined the dilemma of people of the period having to decide on supporting the war, supporting the soldiers, supporting the government. Assignment: Complete your bulleted notes for the Vietnam War. Prepare for a writing session over the reading and notes.

Assignment: Read carefully and take a set of bulleted notes on Chapter 17.   The notes are ultimately due next week. Remember you MUST have a charged chrome book next class in order to take part 2 of the AIR test.  If you have a charge of 80% or more you will receive a 100% for a daily work assignment grade. 

Tues. Assignment: Answer the first nine questions on page 329.  You will need to bring your answers to our next class meeting. Looked specifically at 13th, 14th, and 15th Amendments. Discussed briefly the advantages of both sides at the beginning of the Civil War. Assignment: Next class we will be taking a vocabulary test on 1.3-1.4, retaking the test on 1.3-1.5, and answering three Short Answer Questions over 1.3-1.5.
